PS3 will be cheaper: Sony to recover sales

Who is able to spend $300 for PlayStation 3 80GB? In these economically challenged times sales of non-essentials have dropped as more consumers are withholding purchases of gadgets. Sony, with its Blu-Ray loaded PS3 did not experience great sales even before the economic downturn. Now, the company is trying to recover sales by lowering PS3 price tag.

Sony says a $100 drop on PS3 will happen this April, a move that will allow sales of the device to “once again begin to grow.”
